                    ...🦋 A Visit To The Zoo🦋...

At the end of the last University vacation we went to the Zoological gardern at Dehiwala. I went with my  University friend..😍 The Zoo is a large enclosure with trees,ponds,cages and various sorts of buildings. Live animals are kept in those cages and buildings for exhibition.🦋

One need not go to the jungle to watch the animals.one could see a lot of them at the zoo.one could even see some of the animals not found in our land.we bought tickets at the entrance and entered the zoo. First we visited the acquarium. It is not easy to say in words the marvellous beauty of some fish.one should personally see it. They were kept in glass cages.

I saw a host of monkeys gathered from various parts of the world like the black monkeys, the white monkeys,🐒 the gorillas without tails, the apes like human beings walking on two legs, the chimpanzees, the oranggoutans and the large doglike baboons. They vary in colour, shape and size.our next stop was at the bird's sections. There we could see a varitey of them like cranes, parrots, flamingos,peacocks, swans the ostritch, the emu and a host of others.what appeals to us most in the birds is the rich colour and beauty of their feathers.🐥 we saw the sanakes. We also a large python.🦋

It was about the elephant dance.🐘 so we rushed to the place and sat down on the terraced steps. The elephants at the zoo are well trained and they entertained us with their many trics and phisical exercises. 🐘

One can spend several hours watching the animals in the zoo, their beauty, moods and habits.🦋
